here we are again.
sometimes i wish life were as easy as selecting all and deleting.
i guess you can consider me my own harshest critic.
i never understood what makes you a smart person.
at least not totally.
Is it...
how much you get paid?
how much more you know?
how many books you've read?
how many languages you know?
how easy things come to you?
is it a degree or two or three?
is it measured how many people you boss around at work?
is it a house, children, and a spouse?
is it a mansion and loads of money?
is a degree from a university all that greater than one from community?
what do you learn in college but texts and books?
i mean can't you learn that just by yourself??
is a bum really that much more ignorant than a graduate?
how can you tell?
does intelligence measure up to happiness?
why can't ignorance be a course in college,
i bet i would excell with high marks.
street smart and book smart,
which is the greater good?
i assume it all depends on how far each would take you...
i wish i could look into my future and see what i need
for it to be better;
because right now i just feel like i'm a climax
and my future is only going down.
i wish i become one of those 30 something year olds
and have that foreboding wisdom of a lived human
and read toltstoy books by the fire
know my preferred drink
know 7 languages
and still all the while feel the want to be alive.
it seems like every 30+ person i know
or met
are just depressed, wishing for more time.
i hope i become "smart" and not become one of them.
